Beecham rarities from the mid-40s

I recently invested in the Warners / Beecham mono years set, which I enjoyed very much, but it was unfortunate that some of his recordings had to be omitted for contractual reasons.

When he returned to the UK in 1944, Beecham was under contract to RCA, so the recordings that he made between 1944 and 1950, first with the London Philharmonic, and then with his new orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic, could not be included in the recent Warners box: they belong to Sony, who have never re-issued them, so I am making them available here. First, we have the London Philharmonic recordings from 1944 & 1945.

This file includes Symphonies by Schubert (No. 6), Haydn (No. 97), Beethoven (No. 4) & Mendelssohn (No. 5), along with Mozart's Serenade, Eine kleiner Nachtmusik, and a suite from the ballet "The Great Elopement" with music by Handel, arranged by Beecham. Also included are overtures by Borodin (Prince Igor), Rimsky-Korsakov (May Night), and Mozart (Die Entfuhrung aus dem Serail & La Clemenza di Tito), and music by Berlioz (the Royal Hunt & Storm from The Trojans & his Trojan March), as well as the Waltz & Polonaise from Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin.
