A few recordings by this unjustly neglected British conductor.

The Ride of the Valkyries (Symphony Orchestra) 25th January 1926

Lohengrin Act 3 Prelude (LSO) 23rd October 1929

Both from HMV D 1815 (transferred by Norman Field from my shellac disc.

Tchaikovsky "Hamlet" DB 1716 / 17 (London Symphony Orchestra, 19th Feb 1932)

This was issued quite a while ago by Biddulph (WHL 014), but that transfer is missing some music around the 10 to 11 minute mark. This version is from Frank Forman's collection, a cassette with audible "hum", but at least it's complete !

Finally, a selection from Prokofiev's ballet score Le Pas d'Acier. From Japanese Victor JD 64/65, with the London Symphony, recorded on 18th Feb 1932. Uploaded to YouTube by Uchukyoku1.
